The Chevrolet Equinox Plus is the first plug-in hybrid mid-size SUV under SAIC-GM Chevrolet, officially launched on April 25, 2024, with a price range of 149,900 to 179,900 RMB. The Equinox Plus comes standard with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of an Ecotec 1.5T hybrid engine and a 2-speed DHT transmission, paired with a lithium iron phosphate battery. It offers two pure electric range versions: 102km (CLTC) and 155km (CLTC) .
  • Power Parameters: The engine has a rated power of 132kW, the electric motor a maximum power of 140kW, and the system's combined power reaches 272kW (370 horsepower) with a peak torque of 565N·m. It accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in just 6.8 seconds, and its acceleration performance remains close to the full-charge level even in feed-in power mode.
  • Range and Fuel Consumption: The combined range with a full tank of fuel and full charge exceeds 1,000km. The WLTC combined fuel consumption in feed-in power mode is approximately 5.97-6.13L/100km . Daily commuting in pure electric mode costs only a few cents per kilometer, resulting in extremely low driving costs.
  • Practical Functions: Equipped with a 3.3kW external discharge function, it can meet the electricity needs for camping and outdoor activities.
