MAEXTRO
MAEXTRO is an ultra-luxury automotive brand launched through a deep collaboration between Huawei and JAC Motor, representing the fourth "Jie" brand under Huawei's HarmonyOS Intelligent Mobility ecosystem, following AITO , Luxeed , and Stelato.
Brand Positioning: MAEXTRO targets the million-RMB ultra-luxury market. Its first model, the S800, competes directly with traditional flagship sedans such as the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series, and Audi A8, and even challenges top-tier luxury marques like Maybach and Rolls-Royce. It stands as the highest-positioned brand within Huawei's HarmonyOS Intelligent Mobility system.
Product Features: The S800 was officially launched on May 30, 2025, priced from RMB 708,000 to 1,018,000. Built on JAC's X6 platform, it features Huawei's ADS 4.0 intelligent driving system and a "Vertical and Horizontal Galaxy" Chinese-style luxury design language incorporating numerous celestial elements. To ensure quality, JAC Motor assembled a dedicated team of over 5,000 personnel and invested more than RMB 10 billion to build the MAEXTRO Super Factory, implementing advanced manufacturing technologies such as the 6C4B painting process.
Partnership Background: The collaboration began in 2019, with a formal agreement signed in December 2023 that designated Huawei responsible for intelligent solutions and sales services, while JAC handles vehicle development and manufacturing. Huawei treats this project as its "Number One Project," advancing it with top priority to break foreign brands' monopoly in the ultra-luxury market through intelligent technology empowerment and establish a benchmark for the upmarket positioning of Chinese brands.
